Easy Smoothie Bowl Recipe
SMOOTHIE MIX
1 cup of mixed frozen berries
1 frozen banana
1 cup of frozen or fresh spinach or kale
1/2 tsp of turmeric
1 tsp of cinnamon
1 tsp honey
1 tsp of chia seeds
1 cup of water or almond milk
TOPPINGS
any fruit you have/want:
papaya, apples, banana
gluten-free granola
coconut shavings
raisins
drizzle of almond butter
chia seeds
honey
Here’s the how-to on making a smoothie bowl
In a blender, put the frozen berries, banana, greens, turmeric, cinnamon, honey, chia seeds, and sparingly add the water or milk—feel free to add in any other items like collagen powder, fruit juice, etc.
Start blending everything together, but make sure to not add too much liquid because we want the texture to be thick and creamy.
Once you’re done blending, put the smoothie into a cup or bowl and start adding the toppings.
First, add the granola, following with raisins, fruit, coconut shavings, chia seeds, then drizzle the almond butter and honey on top, and lastly, enjoy!
